Hello Breakfast Club I have 2 menu suggestions for next Saturday's breakfast:
(1) Quiche Lorraine
homefries or fried sweet potatoes
coffee (strong and lots of it)
bagels, muffins, or scones for appetizers
(2) Hashed Brown Omelet (the recipe includes a meat and potatoes)
coffee
muffins, bagels, or scones
Quiche Lorraine Ingredients: Serves 6
12 slices of turkey bacon
1 cup of shredded cheese (goat's)
1/3 cup chopped onion
4 eggs
2 cups of cream
salt
pepper
cayenne pepper
Hashed Brown Omelet Ingredients: Serves 4 so we could double everything
4 slices of turkey bacon
3 cups of shredded potatoes
1/4 cup of onion
1/4 cup of green pepper
4 eggs
1/4 cup of goats milk
1 cup of shredded cheese
Would anyone be interested in trying either of these?

Mmmm. They both sound like great ideas. I think I'll cast my vote the Quiche Lorraine. I can pick up a package or two of the turkey bacon. I look forward to trying this recipe out.

Garbro, my taste buds are watering at the thought of that Hashed Brown Omelet. Seems like an easy recipe and a delightful mixture of all the things we usually enjoy. So, that has my vote.
I'll be happy to provide the cheese, milk, and potatoes. Maybe, if we play our cards right, we could persuade our resident Toto to make her world famous scones. Fingers crossed.
Anyway, excellent suggestions, my friend. Thanks for being on top of things for us all. Our stomachs all owe you a debt of gratitude.

I would be more than happy to make a batch of scones for all to enjoy. I'm thinking blueberry or orange cranberry. As far as the main dish goes, my vote is for the Hashed Brown Omelet.

I am also going to vote for the hash brown omelet. It sounds great!
