Good Morning Breakfast Club,
How is everyone? I wanted to check and see what we are thinking about breakfast this Saturday. I have several suggestions and hopefully they will not distract us from our forum of open and honest communication, with that in mind:

(1) Do we want to make breakfast our self? If we like this idea, we could fix a more traditional meal or we could have a raw food meal. For a traditional meal:

Southwest Breakfast Quesadilla

6 large eggs
1 4 oz. can of green chile's
1 green onion diced
1 Tablespoon butter
1/4 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon cumin
Salt and Pepper to taste
4 oz. Pepper Jack Cheese
2 large flour tortillas
Salsa
Sour Cream

Saute green onion and green chile's in butter in a large omelet pan. Beat eggs with milk, cumin, salt and pepper. Pour egg mixture over onion and green chili, scramble slightly. In an electric skillet at 325 degrees melt a little butter and layer 1 flour tortilla with 1/2 cheese, cooked scrambled eggs remaining cheese and top with 2nd flour tortilla. Cook and flip once until both sides are golden brown and cheese is melted. Slice into four quarters and top with salsa and a dollop of sour cream

For a raw food meal:

Spanish Scramble

1/4 cup cilantro
1/2 cup tomato, diced
2 Tablespoons scallions chopped
1 batch Love the Chicks Pate*
1/2 cup spinach leaves
pinch black pepper

*Love the Chicks Pate

1 cup almonds, dry
1/2 cup sunflower seeds, dry
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon tumeric
1/2 cup filtered water

I am open to any menu ideas that anyone else has.

(2) Do we want to go somewhere and have breakfast such as The Blue Iris, The Waffle House, The Mocha House, etc???

(3)Does the idea of breakfast seem to much and would we prefer to just meet and have a coffe or tea?

(4) or is this a busy weekend and we have other plans? Please reply and voice your opinion and preferences. Thank You

P.S.
I have found several raw food recipes that seem tasty but, they are lunch or dinner recipes. Would anyone be opposed to the idea of a raw food lunch or dinner for breakfast?

Hey Gary ... Thanks for getting us up to speed.

I have genuinely enjoyed meeting at the Mocha House the last two weeks. So I would be in favor of that. But, I'm leaning toward a home-prepared breakfast. The raw idea is great .. it takes a little more prep, but I think we could do it.

Elissa - Would you be willing to rent out your kitchen again? You can keep all the left-overs ...

I may also bring my tea pot and a selection of green and white teas we could steep. It may make a soothing alternative to coffee.

Guys, things here are a wreck and I'm too swamped with trying to wrap up some projects before my trip to get the house in presentable shape before Saturday. I've been trying to clean, but I'm not making a dent. I'm merely doing catch up right now. So the idea of hosting breakfast here is stressful for me. The cleanup before and after is just too much this week. I'm sorry.

I love the idea of getting together, though. If you'd like to meet for breakfast and/or coffee, I'd enjoy that.

Well let's go out to breakfast then ... everyone has appeared to enjoy themselves the last two weeks. Mocha House is always a fav. The Blue Iris sounds good as well, although I have no personal experience with it. Feel free to comment, suggest another place or we can catch up in the morning.
